Manor Grange Care Home is located in the charming area of Pinkhill, Edinburgh and provides high quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 83 residents. Purpose built to combine comfort, safety and elegance, the home offers a welcoming environment where residents feel supported and valued.
Weekend Care Assistant (Day Shift)
* £12.70 per hour
* 22 hours per week
* Saturday and Sunday day shifts
* Paid PVG, pension scheme and SSSC registration covered
* Free uniform and onsite parking
* 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract

The Role
As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with everyday activities including dressing, bathing, mobility and mealtimes while promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.
Working closely with the wider care team, you will follow personalised care plans, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to their needs with patience, kindness and respect. You will build positive relationships with residents and their families, helping create a warm, welcoming and homely environment.
You will also encourage social interaction, support residents with daily routines and contribute to a safe and supportive atmosphere within the home.
What We Are Looking For
* SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred but not essential
* Previous care experience is welcome but not required as full training will be provided
* A genuine interest in supporting older people
* A positive and respectful approach to teamwork
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
