While you won’t have direct reports, this is a highly visible, influential role that works across the business. You’ll act as a trusted bridge between business users, application owners, Information Security and IAM specialists—helping colleagues understand their responsibilities for access governance, while ensuring controls remain robust, proportionate and compliant. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people as much as systems, translating technical access principles into practical, business-friendly outcomes, and contributing to wider projects and service improvements across IAM As an Identity and Access Coordinator, you will: Support business owners and managers to define, review and approve user access, roles and permission sets across internal applications Guide stakeholders on least privilege, segregation of duties (SoD) and access governance best practice Facilitate regular access reviews, ensuring evidence is captured, actions are followed up and risks are addressed Help identify and resolve toxic role or permission combinations, escalating where appropriate Act as a key liaison point between the business, IAM, Technology Operations and Information Security Support projects and system changes, advising on access governance requirements during implementations and enhancements Contribute to service improvements, including process simplification, automation opportunities and enhancements to the Self-Service Portal Support audit, risk and compliance activities by helping prepare clear, timely access evidence Build capability across the business by providing training and awareness on access ownership and audit readiness This role offers real variety — balancing day-to-day governance, problem solving, and continuous improvement, with exposure to both BAU operations and change activity. What We’re Looking For Enjoy being the connector between business stakeholders and technical teams Are confident explaining access and security concepts in plain, practical language Have a strong understanding of access control models (RBAC), SoD and governance Bring a detail-driven, risk-aware mindset, without losing sight of business needs Like improving services — spotting inefficiencies, suggesting better ways of working and helping drive change Are comfortable working in a regulated environment, partnering with Audit, Risk and Compliance Take pride in being organised, reliable and proactive, even when juggling multiple priorities Experience with Active Directory / Azure AD, Office 365, IAM tooling, PowerShell automation, or cloud environments will help you hit the ground running — but just as important is your ability to build trust, influence without authority and collaborate across teams. Offers are subject to standard background checks (credit, fraud and employment references).
