They're looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their Northern Ireland team and support their expanding on-vehicle CCTV and security installation operations. Position Overview As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and growing the company's reputation for reliable, high-quality service delivery. You'll support in-service activities including installation and fault rectification on vehicle-based security systems, ensuring work is completed to customer expectations and within agreed timescales. Your work will directly contribute to regional efficiency and profitability, whilst building strong relationships with customers and internal teams. This is a hands-on role where your technical skills and customer focus will make a real difference. Responsibilities Install and maintain CCTV and security systems on vehicles, ensuring work meets quality standards and customer requirements Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently, minimising downtime and maintaining customer satisfaction Communicate clearly with regional management, providing updates on job progress and any issues that arise Support and mentor junior Field Service Engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work completed Build positive relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams, enhancing the company's reputation Requirements Essential: Full UK driving licence and relevant experience in field-based service roles Practical experience in CCTV installation, auto electricals or electronics Strong communication skills to understand and translate customer requirements Basic IT competency and ability to work with digital systems Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively Desirable: Electrical qualification (NVQ, BTEC or apprenticeship trained) Strong knowledge of DVRs and security system components Experience working in the bus or transport industry Five GCSEs or equivalent, preferably in English, Maths or Science Company Overview Our client is part of a larger group and operates as an independent security systems integrator with deep expertise in high-security, public space, transport and infrastructure projects.
