Pay: £120 - £190 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Thirsk area who are seeking a dedicated Food Technician Teacher to join their Design & Technology department. This is a full-time role to begin as soon as possible, continuing for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent.
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold QTS or relevant teaching qualifications in Food Technology or a related field
* Have recent experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
* Be enthusiastic, proactive and committed to supporting student achievement
* Be confident in preparing practical food lessons and managing health & safety in a food tech environment
Responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering engaging and practical food lessons
* Ensuring the safe use of kitchen equipment and ingredients
* Supporting students with coursework and practical assessments
* Collaborating with department colleagues to maintain high teaching standards
