To be an effective Operations Manager, you will support the Store Manager and oversee all stock and operational processes for the stockroom/warehouse, security and offices. Your leadership will inspire the team to maximize sales, drive efficiencies and achieve performance targets.
Responsibilities
* Support the Store Manager by providing leadership and inspiring the team to perform at their best.
* Create an environment where excellent service, accurate stock processes and performance targets are central.
* Ensure the store meets all legal and compliance requirements in the areas you are responsible for.
* Lead disciplinary and grievance procedures when necessary.
* Manage man‑hour control to keep store processes efficient.
* Adopt a hands‑on approach by working alongside the team on operational and commercial activities.
* Demonstrate resilience during periods of change and embrace feedback to drive results.
* Ensure security staff are utilized effectively and that all company security procedures are followed.
* Address training, development and recruitment needs to a high standard.

* Exceptional commercial and operational understanding, with a knack for creating a fantastic shopping experience for both in‑store and online customers.
* Team player who thrives in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment and adapts quickly to change.
* Excellent communicator capable of working naturally with people at all levels, remaining calm and approachable under pressure.
* Confident problem solver who makes sound business decisions, challenges processes and generates innovative ideas.
* Experienced in leading and coaching a high‑performing team and effectively addressing people issues.
* Highly organized multi‑tasker able to plan, organise and prioritise workload.
* Flexible approach to working hours and willing to work reasonable additional hours, some public holidays and Sundays as required by the business.
