Strategic Account Manager - Retail & Technology Up to £130k OTE Hybrid - London base, with UK travel as needed We’re partnering with a global technology services organisation looking for a Strategic Account Manager to take ownership of some of their most valuable enterprise clients. This is a senior role, ideal for someone who enjoys being at the heart of client strategy - driving growth, nurturing long-term partnerships, and aligning technology with business outcomes. You’ll be managing a portfolio currently worth around £3–4 million, with scope to grow it to £10 million, working closely with senior stakeholders across complex, multi-layered organisations. What you’ll be doing * Leading strategic relationships with key enterprise clients, acting as their trusted advisor. * Developing account strategies that align technology solutions with clients’ wider business goals. * Identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts and leading the full sales cycle. * Collaborating with delivery and technical teams to ensure service excellence and client success. * Creating and executing account plans, managing performance metrics, and ensuring profitable delivery. What we’re looking for * 5 years’ experience in account management or sales (ideally within IT, consulting, or tech services). * 3 years working in a service-based environment. * A background in programme or product management. * Proven success managing portfolios of £8–10 million. * Strong commercial mindset and ability to navigate large, complex organisations. * Confident engaging at C-suite level and aligning tech strategy with business outcomes. * Experience working with Retail clients and supporting them through technology-led solutions.
