The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will be expected to help and assist the team with day-to-day routines including personal care and feeding.
The Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers must have at least 6 months experience in care and be compassionate.
Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers will help with the day-to-day care of patients, either in homes, hospitals, or in patients' own homes. They are vital members of teams in hospitals, homes, and clinics.

As a Healthcare Assistant and Support Worker, you will work under the supervision of nursing staff, alongside other Healthcare Assistants.

Making and changing beds
Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
Talking to patients to reduce anxiety
Helping patients move around
Assisting with toileting needs
Maintaining cleanliness and supplies
Your daily work may involve using mobility aids and escorting patients between departments. With experience, you may participate in training new healthcare assistants.
