Job Description
AI Orchestration Architect
Location: London (Hybrid)
Type: Full-time
Sector: AI / Applied Machine Learning / Intelligent Systems
The Opportunity
We are partnering with a high-growth AI company that is building production-grade, agentic AI systems used to drive real business outcomes. This is not a research-only role. You’ll be designing and scaling intelligent systems made up of LLMs, agents, workflows, and prompts, while shaping how humans and AI collaborate at scale.
This role sits at the intersection of technical architecture, applied AI, and organisational transformation. You will own how AI systems are structured, governed, monitored, and continuously improved in live environments.
If you enjoy building systems that actually get used — and influencing how teams adopt them — this role is likely to be a strong fit.
What You’ll Do
Agent Architecture & Orchestration
* Design and maintain multi-agent AI systems, including agent roles, capabilities, and interaction logic
* Build modular, reusable agent components with clear protocols and guardrails
* Establish orchestration patterns that scale reliably in production
* Ensure governance, safety, and compliance standards are met
Prompt Engineering & Frameworks
* Design prompt chains and multi-step workflows for complex tasks
* Maintain centralised prompt and agent libraries with versioning and quality controls
* Translate business requirements into structured, auditable AI instructions
Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
* Monitor agent behaviour, system health, and production performance
* Identify and manage emergent or unexpected behaviours
* Run experiments, A/B tests, and post-mortems to improve reliability and outcomes
* Tie technical improvements directly to measurable business impact
Enablement & Stakeholder Partnership
* Act as a trusted partner to technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Support teams transitioning to AI-native ways of working
* Communicate complex concepts clearly and pragmatically
* Influence adoption through clarity, credibility, and results
What We’re Looking For
Experience
* 3+ years working with LLMs, applied ML, AI systems, or workflow automation
* Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI workflows or agentic systems in production
* Proven ability to operate autonomously and own complex systems end-to-end
Technical Skills
* Strong understanding of LLM behaviour and prompt engineering
* Experience with agent architectures and multi-agent systems
* Comfort analysing logs, metrics, and system performance
* Familiarity with APIs, system integration, and workflow tools
* Experimentation-driven mindset
Ways of Working
* Strong communicator with the ability to influence across teams
* Systems thinker who balances speed, quality, and safety
* Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-changing environments
* Commercially minded and outcome-focused
Why This Role
* Work on real, production AI systems, not prototypes
* High ownership and influence over system design and adoption
* Direct impact on how AI is embedded across a growing organisation
* Collaborative, high-calibre engineering and product environment
* Strong emphasis on quality, governance, and long-term scalability
