Female Care Assistant – Healthcare Assistant
We are looking for a Female Community Care Worker/Home Care Assistant to join our amazing team at Seren Support.
Location
Porthcawl, Maesteg, and Bridgend
Working Hours
Weekly 16 to full‑time hours each week (choose your shift: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.)
Salary & Benefits
* £14.00 per hour (and £18.00 per hour on bank holidays)

Principal Duties
* Ensure client has frequent and meaningful social connection.
* Assist with routine duties including meal preparation and light housekeeping.
* Accompany on shopping or appointments.
* Provide personal care—basic needs such as clothing, grooming, bathing, and showering—to support independence.
Requirements and Expectations
* Must be able to work in the United Kingdom and own a vehicle with a valid UK driver’s licence.
* Ready to work as a team and act in a professional manner with a kind demeanour.
* Flexible working weekends; no prior caregiving experience required—top‑notch training is provided.
* Female applicant only, in compliance with Schedule 9, Part 1, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010 (a legitimate occupational necessity).
