Support with coaching and guidance to a team of solar sales representatives to ensure leads are responded to and converted efficiently and profitably. Grow and develop the team to meet sales targets, whilst meeting Cost Centre, volume, revenue and margin targets. Provide detailed performance and reporting insights to wider company stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for B2C volume, revenue, and sales targets:Work with the Sales Director to develop and implement sales strategiesEnsure the team work efficiently and effectively to respond to opportunitiesManage and drive the sales team to achieve targetsChampion solutions and support with closing larger dealsEstablish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customersWork with the team to build templates to provide prompt turnaround of leads and opportunitiesRecruit and develop the sales team to meet ambitious growth plans:Build a team culture suited to working flexibly and remotely, especially considering geographic diversityProvide direction and leadershipEstablish collaborative approach for engaging with technical, design and project management teamsWork with the Training Manager and other stakeholders to ensure the team have the required technical knowledgeEngage with manufacturers to support the team with appropriate product trainingCollect, review and report on performance indicators to develop accurate sales forecasting:Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of developmentMonitor, report and improve conversion ratiosReview existing processes and drive continual improvementAssist the B2B Director in the development of the sales plan, budget setting and strategic planningKnowledge & ExperienceTechnical sales backgroundProven track record managing a sales teamKnown for being able to “roll up sleeves” to get work done within a scale up environmentDelivering effective plans to deliver against company targets and objectivesKnowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on themAbility to mentor and bring out the best in the teamCan-do mentality, pragmatic, drives for excellent resultsKnowledge of solar and wider renewable technologies is advantageousSummaryLocation: Leeds; LondonType: Full time
