Are you ready to play a critical role in delivering Lancashire County Council's strategic change portfolio? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our Transformation and Improvement Service, helping to make Lancashire the best place to live, work, visit, and prosper.
As a Project Manager, you will:
* Take ownership of complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are set up for success.
* Work closely with Senior Responsible Owners (SROs) to deliver projects right—on time, within budget, and to agreed standards.
* Develop governance frameworks, manage risks, and maintain project integrity.
* Coordinate stakeholders and suppliers, navigating dependencies and critical stage gates.
* Champion new initiatives and contribute to the development of our Project Portfolio Management Office (PPMO).
What we're looking for:
* Strong organisational and project management skills with experience delivering large or multiple projects.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across a complex organisation.
* Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) and business change approaches.
* Ability to manage budgets, resources, and risks while maintaining focus on quality and value for money.
