Description | Salary £36,363,-£40,777 Per annum | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week | Pro Rata Recruitment & Assessment Team – Regional Adoption Agency Adoption Lancashire & Blackpool 2 permanent opportunities We have two exciting opportunities for experienced and passionate Grade 8 Social Workers to join our Recruitment & Assessment (R&A) Team within the Regional Adoption Agency (RAA) – Adoption Lancashire & Blackpool. About the Regional Adoption Agency (RAA) The RAA delivers a range of adoption services on behalf of our partner local authorities: Lancashire County Council Blackpool Council Blackburn with Darwen Council Our services include: Recruitment and assessment of prospective adopters Adoption support Family finding We are committed to securing the very best outcomes for children requiring adoptive families. About the Role As a Recruitment & Assessment Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting prospective adopters throughout their adoption journey. This is a varied and rewarding role, offering the opportunity to work closely with families and partner agencies. Your responsibilities will include: Recruiting and assessing prospective adopters Preparing and training adopters (pre- and post-approval) Supporting adopters throughout the matching process Providing ongoing support once children are placed and until the Adoption Order is granted You’ll be part of a supportive, experienced team that values reflective practice and high-quality social work.
