Role Overview We are seeking a highly visible and business-critical leader to join our UK & Ireland operations. This role will champion financial excellence, supply chain resilience, and facilities management, while embodying Takeda’s values and driving strategic impact across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Partner with business units to understand drivers and challenge performance. Act as the primary contact for external auditors and internal finance matters. Liaise with shared service centres and lead balance sheet reviews. Oversee P&L and balance sheet accounts for UKIE Management units. Ensure supply chain KPIs are met and manage third-party logistics providers. Lead facilities operations to ensure compliant, efficient office environments. Drive budgeting, strategic planning, and KPI development. Support investment analysis and contract negotiations. Develop succession plans and build a world-class finance team. Ensure compliance with local and global financial, tax, and regulatory standards. Qualifications Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting. Extensive pharmaceutical finance and supply chain experience, including P&L ownership. Strong knowledge of IFRS, SOX, VAT, tax, and financial planning. Experience in demand planning, distribution, customs, and facilities management. Proven leadership in cross-cultural environments and high-performance teams. Fluency in English. Skills & Competencies Strategic and innovative thinker with strong business acumen. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to drive change, challenge the status quo, and inspire teams. Deep understanding of compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
