The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior / Principal Electronics Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering business in the East Midlands. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge clean technology projects for the automotive market, with excellent career progression prospects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and development of analogue electronic circuits, from concept through to production.
* Carry out schematic capture using Altium Designer (experience with other CAD/EDA tools also considered).
* Support the full product lifecycle, including prototyping, validation, and design reviews.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and sustainable solutions for the automotive sector.
* Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers where required.
Skills & Experience
* Strong background in analogue circuit design (essential).
* Proficient with Altium Designer (other CAD/EDA tools acceptable).
* Experience in circuit analysis, simulation, and validation.
* Knowledge of automotive standards / clean tech applications desirable.
* Strong problem-solving ability and a hands-on approach.
