School Administrator- (Part Time, Full TimeTemporary/Permanent)

£14.43 per hour
The School and Role:
A welcoming and well-established school in Huddersfield is seeking to appoint an organised, professional, and friendly School Administrator to join their supportive team.
This is a busy and rewarding role that requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced school environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school office and providing a welcoming first point of contact for staff, pupils, parents, and visitors.
The responsibilities of the School Administrator will include:
1. Managing front office and reception duties
2. Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally
3. Maintaining accurate pupil records and school databases
4. Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting
5. Assisting with general administrative tasks and document preparation
6. Liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies
7. Supporting the wider school team with day-to-day operations
The ideal candidate will:
8. Have previous administration experience, ideally within a school setting
9. Possess excellent organisational and time management skills
10. Be confident using Microsoft Office and school systems
11. Have strong written and verbal communication skills
12. Be approachable, professional, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
13. Demonstrate a positive and flexible attitude
