Hartpury Men's Football Programme is looking for a performance analyst to join their FA National League System team, Hartpury FC for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
The Postgraduate Studentship offers a part-funded place on Hartpury University’s MSc Applied Performance Analysis in Sport degree whilst undertaking a year-long placement with Hartpury FC
This is a fantastic opportunity to combine studying a postgraduate degree at one of the top sporting universities in the UK whilst also gaining real world experience in a high performance football environment.
This Studentship can be over one or two years.
The placement is a minimum of 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Start in pre-season (July) and continue through to the end of the season (May).
* Filming and coding of both training sessions and matches, home and away.
* Delivery of individual, unit and team-based analysis sessions.
* Managing the creation and development of individual player/team clip library on Hudl.
* Contributing to projects and reports to the Performance Analysis department.
* Regular communication and engagement with the FC Head Coach to ensure the smooth running of analysis provision at the club.
* Completing your postgraduate research project alongside our university strategic direction to actively contribute to our evolving postgraduate research and knowledge exchange community and impacting our applied Sports Academy provision.
Qualifications & Benefits
* 2.2 undergraduate degree in a related field (open to discussion based on application).
* A positive work ethic and a willingness to learn.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Trustworthy and reliable (desirable).
* Experience using performance analysis equipment such as filming football matches and confident working with technology e.g. Hudl/Hudl Sportscode.
* Familiarity with performance analysis software.
* Sound knowledge of football.
* Part-funded tuition on the MSc Applied Performance Analysis degree (over two years).
* Involved with coaching in one of the most successful educational football programmes in the UK.
