Terumo Aortic requires an experienced Engineering Shift Technicians to carry out planned and reactive maintenance and associated tasks on equipment and site. This is a 4on 4off shift pattern.
Key responsibilities and duties will include;
* Carrying out routine checks and maintenance on equipment and associated services
* Carry out repairs and modifications to equipment and services
* Support and deliver projects to upgrade and install new equipment and services
* Experienced in fault finding techniques and continuous improvement methodologies
* Ability to analyze data, report findings and recommend improvement actions
* Collect and maintain documentation to meet safety, quality and project compliance and legislation
* Actively participate in performance management objectives and demonstrate Terumo Aortic values
* Assume other responsibilities from time to time in order to support objectives and personal career development
* Provide operational shift cover
Skills and experience desired:
* Minimum HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline
* Proven post qualification experience of working within a multi-disciplined maintenance environment is essential
* Experience of maintaining a wide range of process equipment Competent in the use of CMMS systems
* Knowledge of statistical tools and MS Office applications. Experience of working in a rotating shift team
* Previous experience in a medical device environment would be desirable
