Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Immunisation Staff Nurse – Secondary Schools Flu based at Ayrshire Central Hospital. This post is offered on a / fixed-term basis from 14/9/2026 – 27/11/2026.
Hours:
27.5 hours per week, working 09.00-15.00 (Monday-Friday). Annual leave week on 12th-16th October.
UK Driving Licence:
A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
What you will do:
You will work as part of an integrated NHS Children and Families Health team, delivering immunisation services in all Secondary schools in the 3 localities in Ayrshire, ensuring a high-quality patient centred provision which is responsive to local need.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required for this post:
* Registered Nurse
* Evidence of further professional development
* Demonstration of communication skills
* Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team promoting integrated nursing approaches
* Working with children and families
* Community experience desired
