Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent service, and a comprehensive understanding of bar and restaurant procedures. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining high standards of service, and supporting the overall smooth running of the bar area.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
* Oversee food and beverage preparation, including basic food preparation and cooking when necessary.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across the establishment.
* Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality, serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
* Handle customer enquiries or complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
* Train new team members on service standards, health & safety protocols, and operational procedures.
* Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to foster a motivated team environment.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the bar area in accordance with health regulations.
Skills
* Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
* Extensive restaurant experience, including knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and serving techniques.
* Experience with social media is a bonus
* Familiarity with food safety standards and food production processes.
* Excellent leadership qualities combined with organisational skills.
* Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers.

Pay: £12.80-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
