Salary: £35614.80 - £41305.80
Monday to Friday 07.00 - 17.00
ADR qualification preferred but not essential – fully funded training to upskill available
The position of Class 1 Day Driver involves:
· Multi drop deliveries and collections within set geographical areas
· Building and maintaining relationships with our customers as the face of Freightroute
· Loading / unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security and positive load fit
· Completing daily vehicle checks on your Company device
· Keeping in regular contact with the transport team providing updates on progress aiding management of customer expectations
· Maintaining the highest professional driving and legal standards
Role Requirements:
· UK Class 1 – Category CE Driving Licence
· Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
· Passion for providing excellent customer service
· Ability to work to deadlines
· Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible and self-motivated.
