️ Civil Engineering Officer – Engineering & Surveying Hours: 37 per week Location: 4–10 Linenhall Street, Belfast Rate: • PAY: £20.66 per hour Role Overview Support the Senior Civil Engineering Officer in delivering a range of civil engineering projects across public spaces and neighbourhood services. Ensure works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. ️ Key Responsibilities • Support planning, costing and delivery of civil engineering projects • Supervise contractors on-site and monitor progress • Carry out site inspections, surveys and measurements • Prepare technical drawings, reports and documentation • Assist with tenders, contracts and payment certificates • Ensure compliance with CDM and health & safety regulations • Provide technical advice to internal teams • Maintain accurate project records and AutoCAD drawings Essential Requirements • Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or related subject • Full driving licence and access to transport • At least 1 year’s experience in 3 of the following: – Site supervision – Construction record keeping – CDM regulations – Risk assessments & method statements – AutoCAD / MS Office / MS Project Key Skills • Strong technical knowledge • Excellent organisation and time management • Good written and verbal communication • Confident decision-maker • Strong health & safety awareness • Team-focused and customer-oriented
