Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architect to join our dynamic design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative architectural solutions, managing projects from conception to completion, and collaborating closely with clients and contractors.
Duties
* Develop comprehensive architectural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, and NavisWorks.
* Prepare detailed construction drawings, models, and visualisations that meet client specifications and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with colleagues to discuss project scope, budgets, and timelines effectively.
* Coordinate with contractors and consultants during the construction phase to ensure design integrity and project delivery.
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design plans.
* Engage in joinery detailing and material selection processes to achieve desired aesthetic and functional outcomes.
* Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques such as 3ds and Rhinoceros 3D into project workflows.
Experience
* Proven experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, NavisWorks, and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Languages preferred: Italian or Arabic
* Experience in construction processes and project management within architectural or engineering firms.
* Knowledge of joinery techniques and materials is desirable.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
* Please be aware that this is a part-time commitment but you may also be asked to be on site occasionally
