As a Quarry Fitter based at Cowieslinn Quarry, you will enjoy working in a ‘hands-on’ practical position within a busy environment alongside a close-knit group of colleagues supporting the existing team in maintaining and repairing the plant.
You’re not someone who likes to sit back and let others do the work for you; the more proactive you are in this role, the more you will get in return. From daily inspections and being involved in the maintenance for the site, each day will be different and you may even be asked to work at another site within the region as required.
As our next Quarry Fitter, you’ll be responsible for maintenance and repairs of the Plant and Machinery, preventing plant breakdowns whilst maintaining high standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental Management.
