Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker/delivery driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by assisting with various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics. This position requires a physically fit person for the role as it entails a lot of unloading and loading of containers and lorries and the work is heavy, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced a clean driving licence is required to enable you to drive our 3.5T luton vans in Ireland when required.
Reading and writing ability must be of a good standard .
Duties
* Receive and process incoming stock and materials
* Pick and fill orders from stock
* Pack and ship orders accurately and efficiently
* Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks
* Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts (if certified)
* Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
* Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
Skills
* Previous warehouse experience is advantageous
* Delivery driver experience is preferred, with a valid driving licence for relevant vehicles which are 3.5T UPWARDS
* Commercial driving experience is a plus for those operating larger vehicles
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role
* Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors
* Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
