We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Structural Engineers to join a dynamic office based in Chorley.
This role will suit candidates who have a strong background (minimum three years) in structural design within the UK market, particularly across residential and commercial buildings.
Essential Requirements
* A minimum of three years' UK experience in structural design encompassing steelwork, reinforced concrete and masonry construction under Eurocodes.
* Proficiency with AutoCAD, Masterseries and TEDDS design software.
* Experience producing detailed structural calculations and sketches.
* Capability in preparing construction drawings and specifications.
* Commercial awareness with an understanding of costing, budgets and quotations.
* Demonstrated report writing ability.
* Willingness to conduct site visits to verify construction runs in compliance with drawings.
Desirable Attributes
* Familiarity with STAAD.Pro, SCIA and Revit software.
* Project management and leadership skills.
* Aiming toward or already nearing Chartered Engineer status.
