Key Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher with preparing and delivering daily lessons and interventions.
* Lead sessions in workshop environments, managing resources and ensuring equipment safety.
* Complete daily reports on learner progress and any barriers to learning.
* Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers.
* Assist in managing behavioural challenges effectively and calmly.
* Motivate, inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential.
* Contribute positively to our organisational vision and values.
* Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a strong, supportive team.
* Use strong subject knowledge in English and Maths to support learners.
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year's experience as a Teaching Assistant in an educational setting.
* Relevant qualification/training in Special Education.
* Experience supporting learners with an EHCP is beneficial.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for teaching, learning and continuous improvement.
* Confidence in supporting planning and assessment; creative and proactive approach.
* Willingness to develop construction knowledge (training provided).
