We are looking for a Restructuring Case Administrator/Senior Administrator to join our team. Job Purpose: Following a period of continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Restructuring Administrator/Senior Administrator to work within our busy Restructuring Team. The role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and establish a long-term career within our successful and growing practice. We are flexible on either Aberdeen or Inverness as a location. The Restructuring Case Administrator/Senior Administrator will be responsible for (but not limited to): The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will be assisting the appointed insolvency practitioner and Restructuring Team to realise assets, liaise with employees, creditors and stakeholders, efficiently prepare letters, emails, documents, statutory reports, VAT returns, Receipts & Payments accounts and process financial transactions for formal insolvency appointments. Asset realisations: liaising with third parties to realise assets including property, book debts, cash balances and other assets Banking: liaising with banks to obtain client account balances, copy bank statements, assisting with the processing of transactions and related matters and preparing Receipts & Payments accounts Creditors: liaising with creditors who have claims in an insolvency, including adjudicating on creditor claims and processing dividend payments Insolvency Record Keeping: using Turnkey’s Insolvency Practitioners’ System software, maintain creditors’ addresses, claims, employee details, including creating standard letters, forms and information from the system Site visits: attending the premises of companies subject to insolvency proceedings to liaise with employees, creditors, landlords and other key stakeholders Statutory Records: assisting with the preparation of the Restructuring Team’s statutory duties, including maintaining insurance cover, collating information for VAT returns and bordereau Statutory reporting: assisting with the preparation of written reports to creditors and key stakeholders, including analysis of the insolvency practitioner’s time costs, disbursements and accounting records Telephone enquiries: assist with departmental telephone enquiries; and Other: other ad hoc duties to assist the functioning of the department as required. About You: Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as a willingness to learn new software systems and processes Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail Previous experience in an office based administration role would be advantageous A leader of your work and your professional learning Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to positively impact and influence others flexible in their approach and able to attend client sites as and when required Why JC?
