Automotive Vehicle Technician * Basic Salary £28,000 - £35,000 * Bonus available of up to £500 per month * Mon-Fri operating hours of 8am-6pm (on a shift pattern of 42 hrs a week) * Staff discount on repair work/parts * Staff discount in the shop (londis attached to our petrol station) * Pension (standard auto enrolment offering) * 28 days holiday including BH * 1 extra holiday day earned for each 5yrs continual service * Onsite parking * Full manufacturer training provided * Access to wellness programme FOC Duties of a Vehicle Technician: * Servicing * Diagnostic work * General maintenance and repairs * Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs) * Suspension work * Road testing vehicles after repair * Repairing and replacing wheel bearings, alternators, and head gaskets * MOT Prep & Post MOT repairs * Change tyres, complete puncture repairs, wheel alignment and balancing * Repairing and replacing exhausts, steering racks, and water pumps * Repairing and replacing radiators, clutches and gearboxes * Timing Belts & Cambelt replacements * Oil changes and part changes e.g. Filters Vehicle Technician Requirements: * MUST have an NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3 or Level 2 accepted with a minimum of 5 years services * MUST hold a full valid driver license - No major driving convictions DD, DR, IN * Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service. * Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment
