Experience and Qualifications
* Proven experience providing technical support in a multi-user environment with a focus on network and server maintenance.
* Strong working knowledge of Windows Server OS Active Directory virtualisation technologies (VMware / Hyper-V) and LAN / WLAN troubleshooting.
* Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA Network or Microsoft MCSA / MCSE (highly desirable).
* Experience in delivering technical training and guidance to teaching and support staff.
Role Overview
You will play a key role in maintaining the reliability performance and security of the schools IT network infrastructure. Working closely with the Senior IT Manager you will help to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and lead on key infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain the schools network infrastructure servers and Active Directory environment.
* Implement and monitor security protocols user group policies and data protection standards.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff and students.
* Deliver training sessions and technical guidance to enhance digital literacy among staff.
* Support the schools ongoing digital transformation and CPD initiatives.
