The FD will lead and manage the Finance department and to have overall responsibility for treasury, accounts, management accounts, reporting of management information, financial reconciliations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the effective implementation and use of the organisation's new financial management system.
- Act as Company Secretary, ensuring all statutory and governance obligations are met.
- Work with the CEO to develop and manage annual budgets and financial plans.
- Maintain robust financial controls and reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and meaningful insight.
- Oversee regulatory and statutory returns, ensuring deadlines and standards are consistently met.
- Streamline and automate systems and processes to improve efficiency and data integrity.
- Manage working capital, capital expenditure, investments, and pension governance.
- Provide clear, timely financial reports and strategic advice to senior leaders and the board.
- Lead, support, and develop team members, fostering engagement, wellbeing, and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, health and safety, and other relevant legislation.
