Project Management Responsibilities
* IT responsibility for the successful implementation of our current S/4HANA Procurement modules for MBDA UK.
* Manage the planning, coordination and supervision of SAP projects, ensuring rigorous monitoring of the quality of the integrator's deliverables.
* Serve as the main point of contact between business teams and DEx teams (security, network, technical architect, back office…)
* Act as the primary contact for the DS Procurement domain during the deployment of S/4 systems for the UK.
* Lead the DS Procurement roadmaps for the MBDA UK.
Business As Usual & Optimisation
* Serve as the DS point of contact to manage anomalies and enhancements requested by key users of SAP procurement modules.
* Provide functional and technical support to key business users.
Leadership & Training
* Lead and train local and international teams, monitor knowledge transfer sessions and reinforce DS capabilities on SAP procurement modules.
Qualifications & Experience
* Deep knowledge of SAP procurement, especially MM configuration and interfaces. Additional experience in logistics is desirable.
* Experience integrating SAP procurement with Finance, Supply Chain and Vendor Management Systems.
* Project management experience in multinational SAP projects.
* Hands‑on experience with data migration and master data governance.
* Track record of challenging third‑party development teams to deliver business requirements.
* Experience with S/4HANA is an advantage.
This role will focus on Procurement and will support maintenance activities as well as related SAP S/4 modules. It falls within the Digital Solutions (DS) area of MBDA, part of Digital Excellence (DEx), delivering IT solutions across domains.
We are working on a transformation programme to move from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA across the MBDA Group using Greenfield methodology. This strategy will provide an opportunity for each domain to review the use of existing tools, determine a roadmap for consolidation across the Group and deliver best‑in‑class tools for business users.
Working Conditions & Salary
* Salary circa £70,000, dependent on experience.
* Hybrid working: 1–2 days per week on site; additional days may be required depending on project phase.
