We are looking for an inspiring and compassionate Team Manager to lead our dedicated Care Leavers Service, supporting young people aged 16 - 25 as they take their next steps into education, work, housing, and beyond.

About the role:
1. Lead and motivate a committed team of Personal Advisors
2. Champion high-quality, strengths‑based practice
3. Ensure a strong safeguarding culture
4. Guide the team to deliver impactful, creative, and solution‑focused support
5. Play a central role in improving outcomes, opportunities, and life chances for Care Leavers
6. Work in a supportive, high-challenge, high-support environment where your ideas are valued and your leadership will be felt every day

About you:
7. You’re a Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
8. You are experienced in leading within children’s social care
9. You’re skilled at nurturing relationships with young people and professionals alike
10. You are confident in legislation and practice relating to Care Leavers
11. You’ll be a strong communicator who thrives under pressure and leads with clarity
12. You are organised, resilient, and able to prioritise a fast‑moving workload
13. You’re committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion
14. You’re a driver with access to a car - essential for working across Cheshire East’s rural footprint
