A leading designer and manufacturer of Optical Systems is now looking for an Optical Engineer to join their Oxfordshire team.
Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will be involved in all aspects of product design, development, NPI and assembly.
This hands-on role would suit an optical engineer with some experience in working with the production department assembling the parts designed, sorting out issues during the NPI phases, etc.
Your key responsibilities will include the design and optimisation of optical systems, working with customers to understand their requirements and leading the NPI projects to meet customer needs.

Qualifications:
Ideally you will have studied Physics / Optics to Degree level and have gained some commercial experience in the design or development of Optical systems.
Experience:
This role would suit a Graduate with a couple of years’ experience working in production / assembly, resolving issues raised during the NPI processes.
Ideally you should also have experience with optical design software such as Zemax, OpticStudio and also Python.

Candidates must be resident in the UK and be eligible to live and work in UK. Copies of Passports and Visas will be requested for verification.
