Seamstress / Dressmaker – Permanent Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Seamstress / Dressmaker to join a friendly clothing alterations business.
This is a permanent role starting on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to grow into full-time work depending on performance, reliability, and business needs.
The position would suit someone with strong sewing skills, experience in clothing alterations, and confidence working with a variety of garments. You will be joining a stable company where employees are valued and well looked after, with a supportive and friendly working environment.
The Role
As a Seamstress / Dressmaker, you will be responsible for:
* Clothing alterations and garment repairs
* Hemming, adjustments, and finishing work
* Working with different fabrics and garment types
* Using industrial sewing machines
* Using overlock, blind hem, or coverstitch machines where required
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Experienced as a Seamstress / Dressmaker, Tailor, Sewing Machinist, or similar
* Confident with clothing alterations and garment work
* Reliable, careful, and detail-focused
* Able to work to a professional standard
* Looking for a stable, long-term opportunity
