Job Title: Residential Property Paralegal / Fee-earner

A law firm in Wakefield is seeking a residential property paralegal with fee earning experience to join their team. The role involves managing a caseload from instruction to post-completion, handling both sales and purchases of properties.
Key duties include:
1. Submitting AP1 and SDLT forms
2. Drafting reports on title
3. Liaising with clients and third parties (e.g., mortgage lenders)
4. Dealing with enquiries
5. File opening and closing, including matter balances
6. Companies House Registrations
7. Scheduling deeds to mortgage lenders
8. Drafting agreements, deeds, and contracts
9. Reviewing and reporting on titles
Candidates must have at least 12 months of experience as a residential property paralegal, with excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. The role offers an opportunity to gain more hands-on experience and work with greater autonomy in an established law firm.
