Delivering M & E works across a variety of sectors including education, commercial, healthcare and industrial, they offer their clients a wealth of technical knowledge, range of services and collaborative approach. The Role
Due to their strategic growth and succession plan, this is a brand-new opportunity has been created to appoint a Contracts Director.
As part of the senior management team, you will oversee the contracts managers and site staff, commercial team and admin resource.
You will lead on business development, representing the company at network events, spearheading growth, new business and raising the company profile.
You will have responsibility for projects from the tendering process to successful delivery including client liaison, programming and the successful delivery of contracts.
An experienced manager, you will be tasked with growing and developing your team.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical and Electrical contracting, proven experience in a management role and now looking to take their career to the next level and into a Director role.
Skills and experience required:
* Min level HND/HNC in mechanical and/or electrical engineering
* Attention to detail
* Strong technical understanding & knowledge
* Previous experience of managing teams and business units
* High regard for Health & Safety and quality of workmanship
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Confident in a client facing role, representing the company at events and winning new business
* Driven and ambitious with a desire to grow the team and business
