(Flexible Working Opportunities available) Peterborough or Huntingdon - Hybrid (Minimum 2 days in office per week) Make every drop of your potential count We're looking for a Cost Analyst to provide specialist cost, commercial and financial analysis support across our Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) frameworks. This role plays a key part in ensuring cost control, value for money and strong commercial governance across complex supplier and delivery frameworks. Working closely with framework managers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, you'll support tender activity, cost assurance, financial performance reporting and continuous improvement of commercial processes. You'll act as a subject matter expert, helping teams make informed, value-focused decisions. What you'll be doing * Supporting competitive tenders, mini-competitions, call-off orders and Best-for-Task resourcing within DDaT frameworks * Administering cost and commercial processes, ensuring compliance with legislation, policy and framework terms * Providing cost and commercial SME input into evaluations, moderation and lessons-learned activities * Supporting contract administration, cost capture and challenge of cost estimates and change requests * Producing financial and cost performance reporting, dashboards and KPIs * Supporting assurance, audit activity and contract compliance across DDaT frameworks * Ensuring suppliers comply with cost, contractual and reporting requirements * Identifying opportunities to improve, streamline or automate cost control and reporting processes * Supporting BAU continuity across the wider Commercial Team What we're looking for * Strong understanding of cost analysis, commercial and contract management principles * Experience supporting tenders, cost control, contract management or framework governance * Ability to analyse financial and cost data to identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities * Confidence working with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to challenge constructively * Highly organised and able to deliver quality outputs to tight deadlines * Comfortable working autonomously while contributing effectively within a team * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and reporting tools Benefits * 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with length of service) * Flexible working options * Private health care * Competitive pension scheme - Anglian Water double-matches contributions up to 6% * Life assurance at eight times your salary * Annual bonus * Potential funded car allowance depending on evidenced business mileage * Personal medical assessments * Virtual GP service * Cancer screening * Financial wellbeing support and salary finance benefits * Lifestyle savings including discounts on retail, travel and utilities * Employee Assistance Programme * Volunteer days Inclusion at Anglian Water We're committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong.
