The position for Casual Hotel Receptionist comes with a zero-hour contract to cover extra shifts in busy periods, holidays, sickness, maternity leave, etc. Ideal for professionals that are not looking for a tight working schedule
Responsibilities
* Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly welcome.
* Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
* Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner.
* Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and inviting.
* Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
* Process reservations and cancellations using the hotel management system.
* Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services.
* Proficiency in phone etiquette and effective communication skills.
* Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for interacting with diverse guests.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
* A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
