Medina is currently recruiting for a Transactional Finance Assistant to join the team in the Newport, Isle of Wight office on a full-time, permanent basis.
The working hours are 25 hours per week, with overtime equating to full-time hours. The role is Monday – Saturday with 1 day off in the week.
This role is paying £ per hour.
Key Accountabilities & responsibilities:
* Checking and processing purchase and overhead invoices.
* Handling supplier invoice queries, including shortages, rejected products, and price discrepancies.
* Processing customer card payments (Braintree).
* Supplier statement reconciliations and inter-company reconciliations.
* Producing weekly and monthly payment runs.
* Matching delivery notes and credit notes to invoices when necessary.
* Dealing with suppliers regarding payment reminder letters and calls.
* Performing daily/weekly bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
* Building and maintaining a network of internal and external contacts, ensuring accurate records of communication.
* Communicating effectively with relevant departments to address issues.
* Managing expectations of requests and deadlines through regular interaction with colleagues.
* Working collaboratively in a team environment for the benefit of the business.
* Creating and opening new accounts.
