Working in partnership with Renfrewshire Council Gap Homes Renfrewshire is recruiting a project worker 3. GAP Homes will provide a coordinated and intensive package of support for identified young people transitioning from local authority or kinship care to supported independent living. The successful candidate will be required to oversee the day-to-day service delivery of Gap Homes and work with the wider multi agency Team Around the Child partnership approach with colleagues in Social Work, Health & Education ,therefore, is required to demonstrate a level of experience across the following areas.

1. Working alongside young people to coordinate and deliver outcome focused support tailored to individual needs
2. Delivering a variety of trauma informed and evidenced based interventions in partnership with statutory and third sector colleagues to promote children and young people's well-being.
3. lead on Risk assessment and complex case management .
4. Providing detailed assessments and representation within multiagency meetings.
5. Developing and delivering evidence informed practice.
6. To coordinate the deployment of the PW2 / PW1, As & When workers, volunteers associated with the project.
7. To work alongside young people and adopt a community capacity building approach to enable young people to become independent in the future
8. Supervisory experience of staff or volunteers and As & When staff.
9. Commitment and experience of application of the principles of the The Promise.

The successful applicant should be motivated, driven and can work on their own initiative and in addition as part of a wider multidisciplinary team. Experience of supporting young people during key life transitions underpinned by relationship-based practice to work alongside young people affected by multiple adversities is essential.

Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band – this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.
