We’re looking for anExperienced Technical Paraplanner / Operations Support to join our small, independent financial planning firm based in East Lothian (hybrid working available).
This is aproper hybrid role— intentionally broader than a pure paraplanner position.
Alongside high‑quality technical work, you’ll help ensure advice is implemented smoothly, actions are followed through, and clients receive the standard of service we believe good planning deserves.
This role will suit someone who:
* Enjoys technical analysis and well‑written, robust advice
* Values quality and judgement over volume
* Is comfortable wearing more than one hat in a small firm
Routine and straightforward cases will continue to be outsourced. Your focus will be onmore complex, bespoke work, reviewing outsourced reports, acting as a technical sounding board for advisers, and helping maintain high standards across the business.
You’ll work closely with advisers, have genuine influence over how advice is delivered, and be trusted to take ownership — without corporate bureaucracy or unrealistic output targets.
Location: Eskmills, Musselburgh (hybrid).
