Purpose of the role
To support change delivery managers in the delivery of successful projects, while ensuring that project management processes and practices are aligned with controls andernance standards and that projects are aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives.
Accountabilities
1. Support to change delivery managers, ensuring their programme ispliant with the Barclays Control Framework, including oversight of controls andernance standards.
2. Creation and implementation of standardised PMO processes and methodologies that are aligned with controls andernance standards and that support the delivery of successful projects. .
3. Monitoring of project performance, including tracking of project progress, identification of risks assumptions, issues and dependencies, and creation of report on project status to senior management.
4. Support of project documentation, including maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensuring that project documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
5. Facilitation of projecternance, including ensuring that projects are aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives, and that project risks assumptions, issues and dependencies are managed effectively.
6. Provision of change management framework training to project managers and other stakeholders, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver successful projects. .
7. Continuous improvement of project management practices, including identification of areas for improvement and implementation of changes to improve project delivery.

11. OR for an individual contributor, they will lead collaborative assignments and guide team members through structured assignments, identify the need for the inclusion of other areas of specialisation toplete assignments. They will identify new directions for assignments and/ or projects, identifying abination of cross functional methodologies or practices to meet required oues.
12. Consult onplex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
13. Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control andernance agenda.
14. Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
15. Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
16. Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
17. Engage inplex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams,panies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
18. Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve oues.

To be successful as a Programme Management Office, you should have experience with:
19. PMO / VMO in an Agile delivery model previously.
20. Producing high quality PowerPoint documentation.
21. Producing Agile Metrics.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
22. Previous experience of supporting Agile Ceremonies.
23. Practical experience of JIRA.
24. High level of Excel skills to manipulate data where required.
