About the Role
Vision for Education are looking to recruit a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to work within a large primary school in Hartlepool.
This is a full-time maternity cover role starting from 1st June, offering the opportunity to join a well-established school with a Good Ofsted rating and a warm, friendly ethos. The school prides itself on creating a supportive environment for both staff and pupils, with a strong focus on collaboration and high-quality teaching.
The successful candidate will take on full classroom responsibilities, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils through a key stage in their development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
3. Assess and monitor pupil progress
4. Prepare pupils for end of Key Stage 1 expectations
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
What We’re Looking For
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (ideally Year 2)
8. Strong classroom management skills
9. A nurturing and engaging teaching style
10. A commitment to supporting all pupils to reach their full potential
