The Stroke Rehab Ward is a 20-bedded facility designed for stroke rehab patients. The unit is responsible for the assessment of patients presenting with stroke and neurology symptoms who require further therapy. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Nursing Assistant to support registered nurses in caring for rehab stroke patients.
We are looking for confident and caring candidates capable of providing care with dignity and compassion while supporting patients through their recovery.
The successful candidate will be dynamic, hardworking, and exhibit excellent communication skills. They should be able to lead and deliver high-quality, evidence-based care, remaining calm and professional under pressure.
The post holder will receive support in their professional development and will have opportunities for role advancement. In the near future, we plan to develop a training program that could enable you to become a Band 3 Rehab Nursing Assistant.
The role involves being part of the ward team, with relevant training provided. It covers day shifts, with some night shifts and weekends on a rota basis.
Good teamwork and communication skills are essential. Candidates should be flexible, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and serve as positive role models.
