Job Title: Teacher of Mathematics The Medical Education
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 + £2539 (SEN 1) pro rata

The Role;
Required from 1st September 2024, an excellent, experienced, and compassionate fully qualified teacher to deliver KS3/4 Maths to pupils accessing the MET. The successful candidate will plan and deliver outstanding lessons that have been constructed to specifically fill any emerging gaps in learning and provide learners with the opportunity to excel and foster a love of mathematics.
The MET provides tuition to pupils experiencing medical difficulties and who are unable to attend their permanent school setting. Pupils are taught on site in small groups, of no more than 10. Pupils who are unable to attend lessons at the MET base are offered 1-1 sessions or small group classes via Teams and in some instances within the home or school setting of the child.
The successful candidate will work alongside a team of committed teachers and support staff and will be based at our Worcester unit which is located on Midland Road, WR5 1DS and shares a site with Newbridge PRU.
The post holder will work collaboratively with our team of mathematics teachers based in other MET units in Kidderminster and Redditch.
