We are currently seeking a Reach Truck Driver to assist our coldstore operation at our Bellshill depot. Shift Available: Monday - Saturday (Monday – Thursday 08:00-16:30, Friday and Saturday are half days.) Rate of Pay: £13.65 per hour, paid weekly. The Role As a Reach Truck Driver, you’ll be working in a coldstore environment using a stand-up reach forklift to handle pallets of food products. You’ll be responsible for: Moving pallets to and from racking up to 12 levels high. Handballing products into pick bins in a timely manner to ensure stock availability. Following company procedures for recording product weights and counts. Always maintaining a safe and organised workspace. You'll be working in a coldstore environment of temperatures of around -21 degrees, but we will provide you with all of the PPE to keep you warm. Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking individual who can thrive in a fast-paced and physical environment. You will need to: Be a competent Reach Truck driver with recent experience, although full training can be given to someone with similar experience. Be physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 20kg regularly. Have a good eye for detail to ensure accurate stock handling. Communicate clearly in English with colleagues to support team operations. What's in it for me?
