Are you looking for morning work with children? Are you enthusiastic about working with children? Then a Breakfast Club Assistant position may be suitable for you.
Your main duties include ensuring children are safe and happy before the school day begins. You will work as part of the local team and under the direction of the Head Teacher to supervise children during breakfast in the school grounds, assist with their welfare, and promote positive conduct in line with council policies. You will also be responsible for cleaning tables and spillages, maintaining a clean and tidy dining area.
Ideally, you will have experience working with children in a school or voluntary setting. You should be positive, approachable, and pleasant, with good communication and interpersonal skills. Punctuality, reliability, basic knowledge of hygiene and cleanliness, and the ability to carry out routine tasks independently are required, along with the ability to follow instructions from the Head Teacher.
Note: You will need to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme before starting this role.
Work Pattern:
5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 9:00 am
