The client is a fast-growing, acquisitive business in themanufacturing sector, targeting multiple acquisitions per year to become a leading industry player.
Job Description
3. Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and capability.
4. Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual).
5. Manage statutory accounts, year-end audits, and compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS.
6. Oversee M&A accounting, post-acquisition integration, and financial due diligence.
7. Review P&L performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
8. Maintain and enhance financial controls, policies, and operational processes.
9. Manage treasury, cashflow, tax, VAT, and compliance reporting.
10. Drive continuous improvement in reporting, systems, and operational efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
11. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with 5+ years post-qualified experience.
12. Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, FRS102, statutory accounts, and audit.
13. Experience in M&A accounting, post-acquisition integration, and financial controls.
14. Proven leadership and team development experience.
15. Analytical, strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
16. Strong communication, influencing, and decision-making abilities.
17. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic business.
