An IT consultancy specialising in providing data-driven solutions in the supply chain sector is seeking a Project Support Officer to support the planning, coordination, and governance of projects and programmes across the business. The PMO Support Officer will have previous experience supporting within a multi-project environment, strong organisational and administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and a good understanding of project management methodologies. Additionally, you will be proficient in using project management tools and a proactive and adaptable approach to collaboration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support to project and programme teams across a diverse range of initiatives
Assist in maintaining project documentation, plans, reports, and registers (e.g. risk, issue, action, decision logs)
Support the PMO in monitoring progress, tracking milestones, and producing regular performance reports
Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and governance forums, including preparing agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions
Ensure compliance with project governance frameworks, standards, and reporting requirements
Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates, and tools
Assist in resource tracking, financial reporting, and project forecasting activities
Support stakeholder communications and maintain effective working relationships across teams
Support day-to-day operations and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when required
Provide general administrative and practical support
Contribute to continuous improvement
Maintain a proactive and dependable approach
Travel to customer sites and other locations when required
Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
Essential:
Experience providing project or PMO support within a multi-project environment
Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent)
Good understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities
Proactive and adaptable approach with a focus on collaboration and delivery
Desirable:
Relevant qualification or certification in project management or administration
Salary: £32,000 to £45,000 DOE
