Job Responsibilities
* Provide suggestions, proposals and recommendations to the Hospital Manager aimed at the continued development of the ward.
* Contribute and participate in planned visits to the ward by professional visitors.
* Initiate and maintain a monitoring system related to professional nursing practice at unit level, including pin numbers and current registration of all qualified staff.
* Ensure that the evaluation of service delivery is user‑based (i.e., patient, carer and family).
* Advise non‑clinical staff on the management of patients with mental illness.
* Ensure patients’ rights to confidentiality are respected and that Cygnet Health Care and professional policies are adhered to.
Salary: £61,590 per year.
Qualifications and Attributes

* Familiar with an in‑patient setting.
* Experienced in managing change, leadership initiatives and motivating and developing others.
* Open, compassionate, honest and resilient.
* Capable of undertaking audits, developing, following up and ensuring completion of action plans.
* Well‑informed of the Mental Health Act and the latest nursing practices.
* Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage and reduce risk.
